Nike Air Max 90 "Sobek"

I’ve been collecting sneakers for years, and Nike has always been at the top of my list. So for the 25th anniversary of the Air Max 90, I wanted to do something personal (and a little over the top).

Sobek was my starting point. The Egyptian crocodile god symbolizes speed and strength—qualities that lined up perfectly with what the Air Max 90 represents. So, crocodile skin became the foundation. That one detail set the tone for everything else. From custom lace locks to a fully wrapped package—the dust bag, the ankh cross, the works—I built a design that felt more like an offering than a standard shoe drop. Because, let’s be honest, no one reaches god-tier in GRs.
